Redcoat Squirrelfish
Redcoat Squirrelfish
The Redcoat Squirrelfish is native to the Indo-westPacific. It has lateral red and white stripes like several other squirrelfish, grows to some 32cm long and is mainly nocturnal.
It has three black spots like the Threespot Squirrelfish, S. cornutum, but its white and red lines are generally further apart and the pelvic fins are black-tipped, unlike the Threespot.
