Pollack
The Pollack (spelled Pollock in American English) is native to the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. Of the cod family, it can look similar to some of the other cod-shaped fish of the area but it can be distinguished by its pale tan colouring, lack of chin barbel and, most readily, by its protruding lower jaw. Growing typically to some 75cm, they can reach over a metre long (to 130cmm).
