Curl-crested Aracari Pteroglossus beauharnaesii

Aracaris are like smaller versions of toucans with less massive bills; they are related to toucans. The Curl-crested Aracari is native to Bolivia, Peru and western Brazil.

Male and female have similar appearance but females have a shorter bill. They live in small flocks. Diet is mainly fruit but includes eggs and young of other birds.
