Scarlet-chested Parrot Neophema splendida

One of Australia's small Grass Parrots/Parakeets, the beautiful, brightly-coloured Scarlet-chested Parrot is also called Scarlet-breasted and Splendid Parrot or Grass Parakeet. Only the male has a blue head and scarlet chest. The female has a blue face and yellow belly but green chest - similar to the female Turquoise Parrot (the latter has less blue on the face).
