Turquoise Parrot Neophema pulchella
The beautiful little Turquoise Parrot from southeastern Australia, a grass parrot,
is basically green with bright turquoise on its wings and face.
The male has a whole turquoise face and also has a yellow front and red patches on his wings.
The hen has less turquoise and doesn't have the yellow and red.
A young male with a full blue face but no red or bright yellow yet.
Male with full blue face and yellow belly.
Female with much less blue on her face and a light green spot in front of her eyes.
He has a violet brow band.
