Shy heron
These angry gulls are chasing a grey heron way out to sea. Unusually, the heron is flying
with its neck out (in defence), its crest up and both heron and gulls are vocal.
The heron is tiring and dropping its legs in the water. Before you feel too sorry for the heron,
bear in mind that it may have eaten the gulls' eggs or chick(s) prior to the attack.
