The Black-legged Kittiwake, called just Kittiwake in Europe, is a gull with widespread distribution along coasts of much of
the north Atlantic and north Pacific oceans. Its call is said to sound like "Kittee-wayke".
Kittiwakes nest on high cliffs inaccessible to most potential predators. Their short legs are usually black but can be
