Germains Peacock-pheasant is native to Indochina.
Like other Peacock-pheasants, males have "eyed" plumage and raise/spread their tails like peacocks.
The male, above left/centre, has a greyish head and bright, shiny, blue "ocelli". The female, above right, is similar
but has less bright plumage and fewer, much duller "ocelli".
It is threatened by hunting and habitat loss.
