White-breasted Ground Dove Gallicolumba jobiensis

The White-bibbed/White-breasted Ground Dove, also sometimes called the Purple Ground Dove, is native to Indonesia, Papua new Guinea and nearby islands. It has a rich red-purple wing plumage, a charcoal grey head with white eye-line and a white bib. Typically the female has a slightly less rich colour and slightly smaller bib than the male.
