Orange-bellied Fruit Dove Ptilinopus iozonus

Fruit Doves are a diverse and colourful genus of fruit-eating, forest-dwelling doves/pigeons from southeast Asia and Australasia. The Orange-bellied Fruit Dove is native to southern Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Its main diet is figs; the seeds pass through undigested and are dispersed away from the parent tree for propagation.
