Blue-necked Tanager Tangara cyanicollis

The Blue-necked Tanager, its scientific name alos meaning blue-necked, is also native to northern South America, but less-extensively than its Paradise cousin. Like the Paradise, it features bright colours on a black background, with a turquoise head, straw yellow shoulders and rump and a royal blue with turquoise flash on the flanks.
