Black-throated Finch
The PARSON FINCH, also called the BLACK-THROATED FINCH, is native to northeast Queensland, Australia, including the Cape York peninsula. Both its common names refer to its partial white collar and black throat. It looks very like its relative, the Long-tailed Finch, but with a chopped tail and black bill.
