The Himalayan Accentor, as its name indicates, is native to the Himalayas.
It is also called the Altai Accentor and is native to the Himalayan foothills around India, Central Asia and Tibet.
Like most accentors, it likes undergrowth in mountainous regions (this one high in Kazakhstan's Tian Shan).
