Wren
After he built 2-3 nests, she chose one and is gathering soft nesting material to line it. (The male wren builds 2 or more round nests with grass, mud, string, hair and the hen choses one to line with soft moss, fur, her own down - rather like he building the house and she choosing the curtains, carpets and furniture. He will sometimes attract a second mate to one of the rejected nests.)
Wren She likes cotton wool for nest lining (as do other small birds).
Wren She also likes disguises such as this false moustache
Wren and this Father Christmas beard.
Wren She took a lot of lining material into such a small nest.

Wren's nest Nest was constructed inside a roosting dome in bushes (entrance made smaller by wren).
