Fieldfare Turdus pilaris

The Fieldfare, a type of thrush, has a grey head and rump with dark brown wings. The Fieldfare breeds across northern Eurasia.

A winter visitor to the UK from the cold north, flocks of Fieldfare often eat with the other winter thrush visitor, the smaller Redwing.

Flocks of Fieldfare come for the berries. In flight it has no red under the "armpit" like the Redwing.
