The persistent magpie tries to peck a hair or tuft from the squirrel's tail. It is
chased away by the tail's owner.
The magpie tries again and is chased away again.
It doesn't go far and comes back to try another time. Since the bird seems to be too young to be
seeking soft nesting material (and out of season), it is probably just trying to annoy the squirrel enough to make it
leave the prime feeding area under the bird table.
