The Stock Doves form a symbiotic relationship with the Parakeets on the bird feeder since the latter are agile but messy eaters,
dropping "husks" (actually skins since they are pre-shelled) and crumbs of sunflower seeds and peanuts.
In fact Wood Pigeons, Feral Pigeons and Stock Doves feast on the Parakeets' discarded crumbs. (A Green Woodpecker, above, unusually
joins the party.)
The pink-breasted woodpecker is a common dining companion.
