Corn Bunting buturlini ssp. Emberiza/Miliaria calandra buturlini

Three subspecies of Corn Bunting are usually recognised. The one shown here is the paler "buturlini" subspecies which ranges from eastern Turkey to Central Asia.

The male is larger and a little less streaky, as in the nominate subspecies.
