Israeli Gold Scorpion Scorpio maurus

The Israeli Gold Scorpion, also called Large-clawed Scorpion, is native not only to Israel but to much of the Middle East and North Africa. It lives in sandy burrows about a metre deep. It has large, gold-coloured claws and grows to 7-8cm (3 inches) long.
