The Grey Huntsman Spider is native to eastern Australia from Queensland to Victoria. Like other Huntsman spiders, it is large, fast,
with a flattened body to squeeze in to loose bark or crevices and is an ambush predator of large insects and other spiders. It is usually grey but
can be brown. It has a "dagger" or "keyhole" mark to the body and a leg-span of 16cm (6 inches).
(The world's largest spider leg-span of 30cm (12 inches) is also a Huntsman species, the Giant Huntsman,
and the largest spider body and weight is the Goliath Tarantula.)
