Several spiders in genus Steatoda are known as False Widows.
The one above with light triangular markings is also called the Cupboard Spider and the Cupboard False Widow.
It has a shiny, round, dark brown abdomen with 2-3 light triangular markings - less round body but clearer
markings on the smaller male than on the female where markings may be absent. It has very long front legs.
Females reach 7-10mm head/body length and males 4-6mm.
The photos above show the spider being removed from inside and tipped outside upsidedown before righting itself and scurrying away.
