The Latticed Sheet-web Weaver has uniform coloured legs and a dark brown head and body, the latter having white
mottling near where it joins the head and often variable white markings in the centre back. It grows to some 4-5mm.
In the UK it is widespread and about all year, especially the spring. It is also found across Eurasia (Europe to Japan), North Africa
and North America. The male, above, has palps like boxing gloves; the female has narrower palps and, as the name indicates,
makes sheet webs.
