Clubiona comta is a type of "sac" spider - they build web "sacs" or retreats under bushes, bark,
stones and similar. It is prevalent in most of Europe, North Africa and western Asia. It has faint chevrons, not always clearly visible
(darker on males), marked on the abdomen.
There is a prominent spinneret on the female. Those in a green blouse and pink skirt are female or subadult.
The adult female is 4-6mm head/body length.
Clubiona terrestris is one of the Leaf-curling "sac" spiders - they build web "sacs" or retreats.
It is prevalent through (mainly southern) UK and in most of Europe.
The female is 6-7mm head/body length. They are nocturnal hunters.
The Bark Sac, as its name says, is a "sac" spider - they build web "sacs" or retreats, in this case mainly under conifer
bark or stones. It is prevalent in most of Europe through to Central Asia. It has faint chevrons, not always clearly visible (darker on males),
on the shiny brown abdomen. It is larger than the related Clubiona comta; the female is 7-11mm head/body length and the male 6-10.
