Labyrinth Spider Agelena labyrinthica
The Labyrinth Spider lives in grassland in southern England and over much of Europe.
It has a distinctive wavy pattern on its back. It is a large spider with head and body size up to 18mm (female).
Its name comes from the maze of tunnels and rooms in its vast web (above).
