The Buzzing Spider is a nocturnal, free-hunting spider that chases down its prey on bushes and
trees in woodland of Europe (including UK) and western/central Asia. Its name is after the courtship habit of
the male drumming its rear on leaves to make a buzzing sound.
Head/body length is 5-7mm. There are two distinctive chevron marks on the abdomen of this and closely
related Anyphaena species.
