The Vietnamese Longnose Snake, also called the Rhinoceros Rat Snake, is an arboreal snake native to northern Vietnam and southern China. It is named after its extended snout.

It is not poisonous, mainly nocturnal and can grow to some 5 feet (1.5 metres) long. Young are grey-brown and take 2 years to reach adult green.
