Ruthven's Kingsnake
Ruthven's Kingsnake is native to rocky woodland and scrub of Mexico. Kingsnakes are so called because they eat other snakes, even their own kind (and lizards and rodents). They are diurnal and non-venomous, squeezing prey to death. They can grow to some 2-3 feet (under a metre) length.
