The Forest Cobra, also called Black and White-lipped Cobra, is native mainly to West and Central Africa (and a part of southern Africa). One of the largest true cobras (Naja genus), they can grow to 3 metres long, although typically they are 1.5-2 metres. It climbs and swims well and is highly venomous.
