Eastern Cuba Giant Toad Toad Peltophryne peltocephala

The Eastern Cuba Giant Toad is endemic to central and eastern Cuba. It is a large, brown or reddish-brown, warty toad, the larger females reaching some 16cm long. Mainly nocturnal, it will puff itself up to appear larger to potential predators. It suffers from habitat loss.
