White's Tree Frog Litoria caerulea

White's Tree Frog, also called the Australian Green Tree Frog, is native to rainforests of north and eastern Australia and New Guinea. One of some 150 species of Australasian-Southeast Asian tree frogs, it has white eyelids and a waxy skin with colour varying from olive brown through bright green to turquoise blue (caerulea). It spends most of its time in trees.

It is often found around human habitation eating insects from window sills and outhouses and is also called the Dunny Frog in Australia due to its prevalence in outside toilets. It grows to some 10 cm length. It is common as a captive pet and can be vocal, squeaking when handled and letting out a scream when it thinks it is in danger.
