Trinidad Stream Frog Mannophryne trinitatis

The tiny and well-camouflaged Trinidad Stream Frog, also called the Yellow-throated Frog and endemic to Trinidad, is related to the colourful poison dart frogs.

They grow to a length of some 20mm (less than an inch). Only the females have a yellow throat. Males guard the land-based eggs and carry the tadpoles to suitable slow-moving water.
