Lemur Leaf Frog

Agalychnis/Hylomantis lemur

The Lemur Leaf Frog is native to tropical rainforest of Costa Rica, Panama and adjacent NW Colombia. It is mainly nocturnal, resting on the underside of a leaf in the day. It is critically endangered, partly through Chytrid fungus that has proved deadly to amphibians worldwide, although it has a degree of immunity to it, and partly through loss of habitat from deforestation.
