The Golden Poison Dart Frog lives in the undergrowth of undisturbed subtropical rainforest in a small
remaining area of coastal Colombia. This tiny (although the largest of the poison frogs, it can reach 5cm long), attractively-coloured
amphibian is among the most dangerous animals on earth, with enough toxin in its body to kill several people.
Colour can vary from pale green to pale orange.
The female frogs lay eggs on land and males carry tadpoles to ponds.
