The Golden Poison Dart Frog lives in the undergrowth of undisturbed subtropical rainforest in a small remaining area of coastal Colombia. This tiny (although the largest of the poison frogs, it can reach 5cm long), attractively-coloured amphibian is among the most dangerous animals on earth, with enough toxin in its body to kill several people.
