Budgett's Frog Lepidobatrachus laevis

A large, round frog native to Paraguay, Bolivia and northern Argentina. The large females reach some 100mm or 4 inches long. They spend much of the dry season asleep in a cocoon buried under the dried mud but spend the wet season entirely in the water.
