Home's Hinge-backed Tortoise Kinixys homeana

Home's Hinge-backed Tortoise, also called Home's Hinge-back, is native to forests and swamps of West Africa. It is fully able to close itself within its shell.

Its angular, rusty-colored shell comes to an abrupt end just before the "hinge" at the back. Home's Hingeback is threatened by habitat loss and hunting.
