Ouachita Map Terrapin/Turtle Graptemys ouachitensis

The Ouachita Map Terrapin (called turtle in America) is native to rivers, lakes and ponds of USA, from west of the Great Lakes south to eastern Texas. They have a large, elongated yellow mark above each eye and a yellow spot below the eye. Like other "maps", they also have several other yellow or pinkish lines and have a raised central keel on the carapace.
