The Prehensile-tailed Skink, as its name indicates, is most unusual for a skink in having a prehensile tail (useful for its life high in the trees). It is also called the Solomon Islands Skink and the Monkey-tailed Skink and is native to the Solomon Islands Archipelago off Papua New Guinea.
