Troodos Lizard Phoenicolacerta troodica

The Troodos Lizard is endemic to Cyprus. Sideways on it looks like a banana sandwich or custard cream in brown; from the top it can be quite reddish brown. Despite the name Troodos, it is common over much of the island not just the Troodos mountains. Some claim it is a subspecies of the Lebanon Lizard (P. laevis).
