The Oriental Garden Lizard is an agamid common in South and Southeast Asia. As its scientific name indicates,
its appearance is variable and it is also known as the Chageable Lizard.
Males turn orange-/red-headed in the breeding season. Both male and female have the spiky crest.

It is also called the Crested Tree Lizard.
It can grow to some 35 cm in length, of which over two-thirds is the tail. Related to iguanas, they don't drop their tails when under attack.
