The Green Iguana, also called the Common Iguana, is a large lizard native to Central and South America. It can grow to over 5 feet in length.
Males are a little larger than females, with longer spines and dewlap.

Despite the fierce, dragon-like appearance, Green Iguanas are placid and vegetarian. Communication is mainly by head-nodding.
