The (Western) Cuban Cliff Anole is native to forest limestone cliffs and caves of western Cuba. (It is sometimes
confused with the Cave Anole or Slender Cliff Anole, A. lucius, also of Cuba.)
It is one of only two anoles to lack a throat dewlap (the other is the related Cuban Stream Anole).
The larger males can grow to just under 8cm snout to vent length but both sexes have an extremely long tail nearly twice
the head/body length.
The mouth markings look like teeth!
