The Sunwatcher Toad-headed Agama, also called Sunwatcher Toadhead Agama, is native to deserts of the Caucasus, Iran, southern Russia and
Central Asia through to Mongolia and northwest China. It is one of several species of Toadhead Agama.
It has a noticeable flattened disc on its back as well as its "toad head".
The Mongolian Sunwatcher is a subspecies of the Sunwatcher Toadhead Agama native to the Gobi desert of Mongolia.
It has some artistic cryptic patterns and red/blue colour spots.
