kea i-kea
i-kea I, Kea
Two parrots have claims to be evolutionary links with falcons and hawks (raptors): New Zealand's Kea, the only truly Alpine parrot, has hawk-like stripes and parrot colours (red, yellow, turquoise) beneath its camouflage plumage. Most parrots are vegetarian but Kea also eat carrion and even live prey.
