Uresiphita gilvata Moth Uresiphita gilvata/polygonalis

The Uresiphita gilvata moth, also called Uresiphita polygonalis, is a European moth and an occasional migrant to southern and western Britain in September/October. Its underwings are bright orange-yellow bordered with black (like the Yellow Underwing moths) and its wingspan 29-37mm. This moth was photographed in Tenerife.
