The False Tiger Moth is one of any of the several Dysphania species native to South and Southeast Asia. Above is thought to be D. glaucescens native to Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Borneo and Palawan, but may be the similar D. malayanus of the same range plus Thailand.
