Metalampra Italica Moth Metalampra italica

Metalampra italica: 10-14mm wingspan; May-Aug flight. Previously endemic to Italy but growing range across northern Europe and UK since turn of the century, probably on imported plants. Looks similar to the darker Metalampra cinnamomea on continental Europe. Thanks to Martin Starnes for the photo and Andrew Wood for the ID.
