The Drab Looper isn't so drab, having a golden tan and satin-finish to fore and hind wings, albeit with no markings.
The Looper part of the name comes from the way the caterpillar gets about. The caterpillar is drab. The moth flies in sunshine and
is tiny (wingspan 14-18mm), as shown with the ants above.
Its UK flight time is May-Jun and occasionally a second generation in August.
