Shuttle-shaped Dart Moth Agrotis puta

The Shuttle-shaped Dart moth is not shaped like a shuttle nor dart, but the light oval on each wing is said to be shuttle-shaped (weaver's shuttle) and compares with other moths named after wing markings such as the related Heart and Dart/Heart and Club. Wingspan 30-32mm; UK flight time May-Oct.
