A small insignificant moth which is easily disturbed in grass by day but flies mainly at night; it usually has no English common name, but is
sometimes called the Common Yellow Conch.
It is native to much of the UK and much of temperate Eurasia.
At night in bright light Agapeta hamana takes on an attractive white and gold sheen.
