Belted Galloway Cattle Bos taurus taurus

Belted Galloway Cattle are a hardy Scottish breed of cattle kept mainly for beef but also used for conservation grazing. They look similar to the sleeker, larger Dutch Belted Lakenvelder cattle and may have been developed from a cross between the Belted Lakenvelder and the shaggy, hardy Black Galloway cattle. (A red and white belted variant is occasionally seen.)
